n/a = These two columns are currently not applicable for most citizens, especially during 2009. They are preparations for the 2010 election. During 2009 they are primarily of interest to national single-payer organizations plus U.S. Congressional District Coordinators within the Health Care for All movement.

Explanation of this Web Page **

Information in the Table

Reporting of a percentage for the U.S. Representatives occurs when the support of single-payer for a specific state is above 33.3%. As of the fall of 2008: Illinois is at 32%. Georgia is at 31%.

A state’s numbers are green when:

  • the percentage of support from U.S. Representatives is at or above 67%
  • or when the support from U.S. Senators is 2 of 2.

As long as there is at least one supporter for a specific state, that state name will be linked to a report for that state. Supporter names and a reference(s) about their support are then available by selecting the state name.
