Statistics and Poll Results - United States
42% of Americans under age 65 are either uninsured or under-insured: see the under-insured web page. Over 130 million Americans are in that situation; that number is zero in all other industrialized countries.
95% of Americans feel that it is a very serious (70%) or somewhat serious (25%) problem for the United States that many Americans do not have health insurance.
Decisions of the U.S. Congress that are against the U.S. having health care for all
The world view clearly shows that the U.S. Congress has acted time and time again against what the other industrialized countries have done regarding the implementation of non-profit financing of health care.
The wrong direction was taken by the U.S. Congress in 2003 that has been making things worse for Americans regarding health care. That wrong direction will take an automatic additional step in 2010 if citizens do not do necessary communications.
