Send Letters to Congress

The instructions below are not part of the Million Letters for Health Care Campaign. They are provided here as additional information, in case you want to send an additional communication to your U.S. Representative and/or U.S. Senators.

For example, you may want to give input about the details of H.R. 676, such as what should be included regarding what health care is going to be covered.


How to Send a Letter to Your U.S. Representative

Determine the name of your U.S. Representative.
— You could go to Status by Individual in the Support Monitor and select your state if you think it’s just a matter of being reminded of his/her name.
— Or use the “Find Your Representative” function at the U.S. House website.

Send your letter to:
The Honorable (your rep’s name)
United States House
Washington, D.C.   20515

How to Send a Letter to Your U.S. Senators

Determine the names of your U.S. Senators.
— Go to Status by Individual in the Support Monitor and select your state to display the names of your two U.S. Senators.
— Or go to the U.S. Senate website.

Send your letter to:
The Honorable (your senator’s name)
