Explanation and Observation
* = member of the 30-member organization of industrialized countries called the “Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development” (OECD)
Observation: it seems very possible that any updated evaluation of performance would put the U.S. lower now due to its drop in performance in the areas of lower life expectancy and less ability to minimize deaths due to preventable diseases. However, this is pure speculation on my part.
