H.R. 676 Differences


U.S. House bill H.R. 676 in the 112th Congress (2011-2012)
                       compared to the 111th Congress (2009-2010)

 1. Overall Language / Terminology … throughout the bill.

     A. Change. New program name.

           Old: “USNHC Program” for United States National Health Care Program.
           New: “Medicare for All Program”.

Refer to Definitions and Terms: See the entire document’s use of “Medicare for All Program”, as indicated by the reference at “Definitions and Terms”.

 2. Covered Benefits.

     A. Addition. “Approved dietary and nutritional therapies”.
     B. Change. Words were added at “full scope of dental services”
           to clarify that the following services are included in that “full scope”:
           “periodontics, oral surgery, and endodontics”

 3. Funding.

     A. Addition. The following proposed source of funding was added:
           “Instituting a modest tax on unearned income.”
