Improved Medicare for All, no longer privatized
Focus!
- Sophisticated major media campaigns occur in opposition to single-payer
- Many forms and formats: part of the lobbying by those who oppose single-payer
- Designed and created by professionals to try to influence public opinion
- These have crushed national and state proposals for reform in the past, and they are still trying to crush them! We need to know the facts and be focused!
- Know this:
- Non-profit financing of health care is the need
- The version of non-profit financing is the simplest and the most efficient: non-profit, single-payer national health insurance
- We must reduce the role of the health insurance companies in health care financing to whatever is not covered by the national health program — instead of increasing their role!
- We must reduce the role of government in health care financing and the role of associated role of the politicians. We need one public financing program run by one public agency instead of many federal and state health insurance programs — and instead of increasing the government’s role!
- The “bottom-line” about the need for non-profit financing of health care:
- Single-payer national health insurance will provide a high degree of benefits for everyone at significantly less cost per person than the current fragmented system of excessive costs that are due to the excessive involvement of both health insurance companies and the government.
Focus on what we want: simplicity and efficiency!
Visualize U.S. citizens in good health with U.S. national health insurance cards in their hands!
Citizens and the nation either lose twice or win twice: 2 REDs or 2 GREENs when we see the list of alternatives
Health Care for All is critical for the U.S. economy and its global competitiveness
… and the physical and financial well-being of U.S. citizens.
