Communicate to the President

Ask for President Obama’s support in getting health care for all with non-profit single-payer national health insurance: improved Medicare for all. This is a suggested one-time action of making a call and also sending a note.

Call the White House Comment Line at 202-456-1111

The White House Comment Line operates 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

“I’d like to give President Obama my input about health care.”

Pause for the Comment Line operator to respond. The operator may need to reach for a tally sheet to count your input, as the operator will have received identical inputs from other callers.

“Please support non-profit … single-payer … national health insurance … via H.R. 676.”

pause slightly where indicated with …

Suggested Note to Send

If you make any changes or additions to the following note, keep the note short, positive and polite.

Dear Mr. President:

Please encourage the U.S. Congress to pass legislation for Health Care for All with non-profit single-payer national health insurance, such as defined in H.R. 676. Non-profit financing of health care will stimulate the economy and keep our country great by recovering businesses, recovering and creating jobs, saving money, improving health and saving lives.

A clear majority of Americans want the health care justice and the peace of mind from medical bills that people in other countries have experienced for decades that have been denied U.S. citizens for so very long.

Invitation to do more to get what we want and need. Please join in a massive weekly flood of communications President Obama’s newly formed White House Office of Health Reform. Equally important, please get reminders to send notes every month to members of the U.S. Congress. Barack Obama’s suggestion communicated on 4/3/2007 is that a thousand to two thousand notes (he said “letters”) need to be sent in every U.S. Congressional District. We need to get the numbers high by getting others to know about this topic and sign up for the reminders.

Health Care for All with non-profit financing is critical for the U.S. economy and its global competitiveness … and the physical and financial well-being of U.S. citizens.
