Status nationally of achieving the goal of 435 districts having at least 2,299 participants receiving reminders.

Yes, we can!.

Status in April 2009. The momentum of people becoming participants was already building during March prior to the campaign’s official April 1 start date. A “Letters for Health Care Campaign” is being set up (or will be set up) in each district. Each campaign is different. Some might be starting with just a person or two making telephone calls all around a U.S. Congressional District that covers a large geographic area. Others might already have an organization in place with hundreds of people ready to help meet their district’s goal of 2,299 or more participants. Some districts decided to have a goal above 2,299 due to the position of their U.S. Representative regarding non-profit single-payer national health insurance.
