Getting the answers to these kinds of questions helps you understand what the minimum testing is for two reasons:
   — cost: your cost, directly or indirectly
   — patient safety: your safety!

The answers may lead to you learning that the least costly option may provide an adequate set of results that is also the least risk to you, such as in your exposure to the amount of radiation or your exposure to particular side effects related to the treatment options.
