About Us and About the Campaign
We can and will get improved Medicare for All,
which is critical for the physical and financial well-being of Americans and America.
About Us.
In a very teamwork manner any Americans have been and are contributing time, effort and money in the development of this website. Over the several years dozens of Americans from across the country have helped in a wide variety of ways, such as these examples:— sharing a report that has proved to be invaluable in documenting the definite benefits of sending a personalized letter in the U.S. Mail to the U.S. Congress.
— spending hundreds of hours carefully reading the information provided at the website and providing feedback to me that led to excellent refinements and/or corrections the information.
—setting up a monthly donation or giving a one-time contribution. Due to the planned millions of participants, getting a flow of money is critical to pay for the cost of e-mailing ($1430/month just for the first million) and the cost of website hosting (due to the huge amount of website activity that will occur.)
The contact link for this website is "Contact Bob". That reflects that Bob Haiducek (me) started this website and the campaign, starting at its infancy in 2007.
"Teams". Sometimes I refer to us being in teams, such as The Review Team or the Technical Team. But we have no formal organization or formal teams. Informally, if you like the use of the word "team", then I share with you that the Operations Teams would include the millions ofparticipants who sign up at this website (Action Team #1) and those who spread the word (Action Team #2). The millions of members of those teams will never be listed anywhere and never shared with anyone ... unless you have authorized the sharing of your name and contact information when you signed up ... such as sharing your information within your state to potenticlly help the campaign's success wtihin your state.
The Ground Floor.
Those who signed up and are signing up in 2007 through 2011 are on the “ground floor” of the campaign … allowing us to gain experience and make refinements in preparation for a more robust promotion of the campaign. Until the campaign gets very active anyone who signs up will definitely still be part of the "ground floor".About the Campaign.
#1 — Education. During 2009 and 2010 I heard people state on national phone calls and during one-on-one chats with me that Americans have never heard of improved Medicare for All via single-payer. It's time for that to change. We must educate ourselves and each other. And we need to do it in the best way: meeting with 1 to 4 other Americans at a time in front of the web page "What Americans Should Know."
Why is the education conducted best in front of a computer screen? Because interested Americans can not only become informed, but they can also sign up.
#2 — Communications. It's a fact, as documented by a thorough report based on contacts with the staff people in the U.S. Congress. Sending personalized letters sent on paper in the U.S. Mail is the best way to communicate. We started with sending letters to U.S. Representatives. As the power of our numbers grow, we will occasionally have a month when we will communicate to more people in Washington, D.C. and add efficient, effective phone calls spread throughout the month (that is any month when we specify phone calling). If that sounds like a big effort, don't worry. Each monthly e-mail reminder gives you a new set of ideas/suggestions for adding a hand-written note to the already-prepared letter that you can print ... and then make it personalized with your note.
About the “take-off” to occur when the final projects of preparation are completed.
When the final projects of preparation are completed, we will ramp up the degree of promotional activities.
Reflecting on the past few years it’s amazing how quickly and widely the word spread initially, as indicated by the fact that the first one to two thousand participants live in the majority of the 435 U.S. Congressional Districts. This demonstrated result from very little promotion is one of the reasons why we are comfortable that the “take-off” and the overall campaign will go well.
| This website and the development of the campaign have been and are truly a team effort via all of the team-like efforts of all the contributions of time, effort and money.. Many Americans have contributed their time and effort … in some cases hundreds of hours … to provide the website and the education and communications campaign. Now you, as an individual or as a group, can use what is available here to help make Improved Medicare for All a reality. |

Dedication
Refer to the book Health Care Meltdown by Robert H. LeBow, MD. The book’s 2007 update by C. Rocky White, MD. was released in mid-August 2007. This campaign is dedicated to the memory of Bob LeBow. I recommend that you purchase this book; specific pages of it are referenced at this web site. The book is an important resource for the single-payer movement. The book can be purchased at www.amazon.com
Neither I nor anyone else associated with this website or the letters campaign receives any financial benefit when you purchase this book. — Bob

— short versions: www.mforall.org or www.mforall.com
— regular version: www.medicareforall.org
— long version: www.improvedmedicareforall.org or www.improvedmedicareforall.com

The plan for this last address is to have a Good Health for All website that provides excellent information / tips related to health and health care. That will be provided after the United States establishes a health-care-for-all system.
Please consider making a small monthly or one-time donation to help with the expenses of the website and the campaign.
