Graphs of Progress

Visualize Increasing Support in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate

Increasing support results from: the participation of many of us citizens making contacts with our U.S. Representatives, such as via the Notes and Votes campaign

We, the people, want support. To help ensure that the numbers below will increase, we need to have many citizens sign up to communicate to our U.S. Representatives and also cast our votes.

Calculation of U.S. House Registered Supporters

For the above Graphs of Progress:

Calculation of the total number of registered single-payer supporters in the U.S. House who will be voting on the H.R. 676 legislation. The total number on this web page may be different than the Library of Congress total number of cosponsors.

  • The sponsor of the single-payer legislation (John Conyers) is included.
  • Supportive non-voting members of the U.S. House (that is delegates) are reported in detail just like everyone else, but they are not included in the total.
  • Persons who have died or resigned or otherwise left office are not included. However, those persons are most often included (not removed) in the Library of Congress records.

For details, see the U.S. Representatives list.
